drywall + screws
 

Ok 2 questions here
1. drywall a ceiling what thickness should I use, I have 16" on center furring strips installed. What size screw also

2. Drywall thickness for my walls on 16" on center 2x4 walls and size screws also.

In most areas 1/2 inch drywall is good for ceiling and walls---1 1/4" screws.

Check local code some require 5/8" on ceilings --1 5/8" screw.
