Drywall repair help
I am a newbie to this site. I need some advice with some repair I am doing in my living room. I have an interior wall which meets an exterior wall at a 135 deg angle and has a corner bead. Last winter I notice a gap openning up at the corner. I hired a painter to come fix it and it looked great but this spring the whole corner bead has pulled away and out from the wall (I'll try and post a picture). Question I have is should I rip out the corner bead and use caulking (just thinking it might be more flexible and allow form more expansion/contraction) or is there a better way to do this? Thanks for any help you can give.

Im guessing this is an outside corner? In either case go to your local drywall supply house and buy a stick of No-Coat Ultraflex whatever height your ceiling is. Remove the old cornerbead and install the ultra flex. This particular brand of bead is the best on the market! It's made to withstand structural movement better than any other bead out there. Use all purpose compound to apply it.
