Drywall repair after wall removal

I bought a house and removed two non-bearing walls. I'm not sure how to repair the walls and ceiling because there are no joists in the ceiling where the wall attached to the ceiling. It is a trussed roof so the ceiling pitches from 8 to 11 feet. What do I attach the drywall to? Is this a job for a Professional? Am I out of my league here? What would something like this cost for a Professional to repair? Please help!

you're going to have to place some blocking 2' on center to attach your new walls to. may have to cut back more drywall to do so?
