Question

drywall inside utility alcove, yay or nay

any reason why i should hang DW inside my utility (water heater and hydronic radiator boiler, both gas)? i was planning to just leave exposed 2x4 and, of course, have DW on the outside.

I've seen it done both ways. No reason to unless it's a code issue. Check with the local building dept.
