Drywall bottom of stair stringers question

hewey24 Newbie   Join Date: Nov 2010 Posts: 1	Drywall bottom of stair stringers question I am in the process of drywalling my basement. I was wondering if it is okay to attach drywall directly to the bottom of the stair stringers that are exposed from the upstairs or do I have to frame slightly off the stringers? Any advice would be appreciated.
