Dry Wall Tape Repair?
What should of happened is all the drywall removed 2' or 4' from the floor. (4' of the drywall was run horizontal).
Let the wall dry out replace any insulation from where the cut is to the floor, wall and studs treated for mold, allowed to dry out then put it all back.
If you had of called your insurance company that's the first thing that would have hired a company to do within a day before mold set in.
There also should have been a dehumifier set up and fan blowing at the walls.
The tapes failing because the rooms to wet.
The part of the drywall you can see may look fine because it got sealed with paint, the back side is just paper, favorite food of mold.
