Dry wall, joint compound, Paint

We had a room drywalled and joint compound was used. The compound was sanded as well. We primed the wall as directed but when we painted the walls, you can see everywhere the joint compound was used. How can we fix this?

See it as in... Different color? Or rough/raised texture? If the latter it needs to be sanded again. I would also use flat paint as the glossier finishes tend to show more flaws.

It's raised up. Also, I've noticed that it doesn't seem that the dry wall is even either.

If the joints show, I would call the contractor back out to fix it.
