Carport walls

What are carport walls made of? I am trying to replace the wall that has a hole in it and it looks like the material is drywall and acoustic spray can it be repaired with stucco?

Carports are usually open to the elements, drywall seems like a bad choice due to potential for moisture or humidity.

How about a close up picture of the damaged material? Would make it easier for someone to identify it.

Open carports generally have wood on the walls, drywall on the ceiling is likely (though not a good product as stated above). If you are speaking of an actual enclosed garage as opposed to a carport (different names in different areas) it's very likely drywall on the wall. Drywall and stucco are completely different products. Drywall is best used as an interior application and stucco is normally an exterior application.....
