bullnose corner, meet ceiling
How should I be finishing the plastic bullnose corner where is meets the ceiling? With normal square corner you can tape almost up to the tip, but the 3/4" round corner can't be taped. Should I use painters caulk for this, or a thin layer of mud?

tape the corners first then install the bd no need to do anything where the bullnose meets the ceiling .

Yep, I'd figured that much, but where the bullnose butts up against that ceiling? Is just painting over enough or do I need to seal it up for a good finish. I get the feeling that the guys that really know how to do this stuff aren't talking.:whistling2:

If there is a gap that does not look right, why not caulk it and paint it?

anyone who has to use caulk on drywall doesnt know what they are doing unless you are butting up against wood or metal etc. :whistling2:

Am I just over thinking this or what?

Oh, btw when I said "this stuff", I meant bullnose corners, not drywall in general. I'm really not trying to sound like a dick here. Just looking for good advice.
