my house had some water damage, the sheetrock had to be cut about 2 feet from the floor up, after the sheetrock was rehung, mudded, sanded, it was textured, the texture was feathered about another 2 feet up to blend with the old wall, after it was textured and painted, the area where the texture blended into the wall bubbled along what appears to be the seam.
what caused this and how can it be fixed??
the contractors have repaired the areas 3 times now.
At the seam it sounds like the tape has lifted due to dry spots under it. The tape would need to be removed and retaped correctly.
I doubt the contractor who repaired it 3 times before will be able to do it. But who knows. Forth time might be the charm.
