Bathroom Drywall Question

I am completely remodeling a bathroom and had a couple questions on the drywall. First question is where the drywall meets the tub/shower what is the best way to have a clean edge? I have to be honest and say I didn't quite get the drywall edge completely straight where it meets the tub. Also on the outside of the bathroom I had moved the door to a different location on the wall so I framed up the old doorway and decided to just put 3/8 drywall over the old plaster wall but the ceiling and the joining walls are still plaster. What is the best way to finish these edges (where the drywall meets the plaster walls and ceiling)?

Best way to have a clean edge is to cut it straight in the first place.
Are you using a drywall square to cut along?
Post a picture.

After you cut the drywall fairly straight, you can clean up and straighten the edge out with a drywall rasp.

You could flat tape up to the ceiling, caulk, then prime and paint.
