Hi all,
I am remodelling a bathroom and my wife has asked for a shower stall light, and of course we need a ceiling exhast fan. I intend to center the fan in the room, and I would have to add the shower stall light.
I have been advised that, considering the ceiling above the bathroom is the attic with blown insulation, and that I live in a cold, cold part of northern Canada, the potential for moisture damage in the attic is too great and I should avoid the shower stall light if I can. Apparently the fixture would have to be sealed and would require a 4" dead air space between it and any insulation to prevent fires.
Thoughts? Bad idea?
