Basement remodel using green home theory?

Would like to remove the paneling from my basement walls and replace with a type of drywall that would be environmentally safe and moisture resistant. Any thoughts?

Just use MR sheetrock. Due to its blue or green color, you'll want to us a good quality primer to prevent bleeding.

About 200 moisture, insulation and ventilation questions come to mind.
Poke around in some of the other insulation and remodeling threads.

Sounds like the 8o's with paneling.... Might want to research this a little: http://www.buildingscience.com/docum...lation-systems

No green board in basements, you want the moisture to dry to the inside. It has a moisture-resistant core and paper. Helps vapor condense in the stud cavity.

And welcome to the forums, both of you!
