Anchoring a pedestal sink basin - stud or drywall anchor?

I recently finished tiling and painting my bathroom. It's a full remodel (except the tub/shower). I have a new pedestal sink that I'm going to install. I'm basically new to everything and I'm learning as I go.

I was reading the sink's instructions and also some online tips and found that the basin really should be anchored to some blocking or studs. The problem is I have no blocking and the sink won't catch a stud (not even one side).

I'm willing to cut out my finished, painted drywall enough to install a blocker or two, repair, sand, paint and then anchor. My question is, are two drywall anchors enough to anchor the basin to the wall knowing that the pedestal is supporting the weight? If the answer is "no" or "yes, but REALLY not recommended" I'm am still willing to dig into the drywall. I figure I'd ask because if drywall anchors are more than enough, I'll get the job finished much quicker.

But... I'd rather do it right.

Thanks, guys and gals!
