furnace will not stay lit

Posted 01-08-2017 at 06:43 PM by lbeers

Update to previous blog.

The only tube to ignite during the initial start up is the far left one where the igniter is. None of the others ignite.
So how does the flame sensor get enough heat to ignite the other tubes? Or is the flame sensor not allowing the other tubes to light?

furnace will not stay lit

Posted 01-06-2017 at 05:46 PM by lbeers

I have a Luxaire 95% Furnace/Heat Pump which was installed in 2011.

The furnace tries to light 3 times but won't stay lit.
When it cycles these 3 times it then gives me 7 red flashes. Which is lock out do to retries.

I cleaned the flame sensor but that did not help.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Hatachi NT65GAPR PROBLEMS

Posted 12-15-2016 at 01:17 PM by treeclimber21

Need help from someone smarter than me. I bought the cordless Hitachi NT65GAPR angled 2-1/2" finish nailer. I put a fuel pack in and it fires great for about 3 nails. After that I get nothing. I put a new fuel cell in and the same thing 3 times. Am I installing the cell wrong or does anyone know why it seems to be emptying the fuel cell after 3 shots or so ? It doesn't seem like there is any other way of putting the cell in the gun. I have owned a Paslode gun before so its not like I'm unfamiliar...

Control Panel

Posted 11-06-2016 at 11:45 AM by gregalex
Updated 11-06-2016 at 11:49 AM by gregalex

I am in the process of selling my home. The Home Inspector said that the wiring on my panel board needs to be corrected to utilize the knock-out on the box. 1. is this necessary? 2. What is a ball-park figure as to what this would cost?

Thanks,
Greg
