Business vs DIY

Why is it that so many people disregard the professional training that goes into becoming a top notch trades person. All they see is the price of the part. What about the cost of obtaining a trade certification, the continuing education, the liability insurance, fuel, vehicle maintenance, vehicle payments, insurances,...

The summer has gone by in a hurry. I've made a lot of progress on several projects that I have been working on, including landscaping and my kitchen remodel. I hope the Kitchen Remodel will be at a functional kitchen stage before Christmas.

Remodeling? All Contractors are not created equal.

Posted 07-19-2010 at 08:04 PM by Sir MixAlot

When trying to find a contractor for a remodeling project or even just some repairs. You want to pick the right contractor for your project no matter how big or small it is. The one thing you should know is that all Contractors are not created equal. I recommend the best thing to help ensure a contractor will do the job right, is qualified, properly insured to perform the work in their trade and maintains the credibility of previous customers in their local area.
