Pella Windows is now recalling 6,500 to 10,000 Casements units do too sashes falling out of there frames and this is their upper end 850 Series, so far one serious injury.
Watch out for those falling sashes.....LOL.

Also, there is a class action law suit against Pella, for rotting windows with in 10 years
and top of that Pella had an earlier issue with Sashes falling out of their casements in the Pro Line Series....in early 2000s. Check out Pella Class action law suit on the web for yourself.
They are marketed well but there product sinks...all across the board useless it's the designer series. Any one thinking of using Pella should first look at Marvin, Andersen, Kolbe & Kolbe...Pella is not a good window- please do your homework before you buy their product. I used to sell Pella at 84 lumber and had nothing but problems wit hte service, product issues, and their reps just strugged their shoulders with no help...
I don't hate Pella but they could clearly do things diffently to improve their product... I think they are below average product in the top 10 wood window companies. If you only have seen what I seen from this Pella Corp, you'd re-consider before you used your hard money on buying this window product...
