The best meal of my life...

Last night I was treated to the best meal of my entire life at Cafe Eve in Alexandria, VA. They don't have a Michelin Star yet, but they expect one or two in the next few years. Seven course tasting menu with wine pairings and 'gifts' send between some courses from the chef. I had to give up on the wine pairing after the third course - wow I was getting tanked.
Started with three little 'bites' one of which was a rabbit liver (yuck), but one was a deviled quail egg - too cute for words. Each of the seven courses was more entertaining than the last - MMMMMMM!
